Over For Good?

For those of you clamoring to get your hands on Prince Harry, the most available bachelor in the world, a summer holiday to London might be recommended.

Never one to put her life on hold for the Prince, Chelsy Davy is reportedly on the move again.

The Zimbabwean-born blonde has never been a huge fan of London winters and delayed her position at the law firm Allen & Overy by a year to go home to South Africa, returning to London shortly before the Royal wedding.

Chelsy and Harry have a history of being “on-and-off” and have always remained close, even when on breaks.  The two have been seen looking very cozy lately – she was Harry’s date for the wedding – leading to rumors of a reconciliation “for good”.

Now things appear to be shaky again as Chelsy plans to head off for her final summer of freedom before beginning her “real world” job.

A source revealed to The Mail that instead of spending the summer with Harry, she will be heading on a road trip across Europe with friend Lady Melissa Percy, the second daughter of the Duke of Northumberland.

Name sound a little familiar? Well, Melissa is the sis of George Percy, the ex-boyfriend of Pippa Middleton who accompanied her on her holiday to Madrid last weekend.

Man, these Royals and aristocrats are certainly an incestuous bunch!

Lady Melissa, 23, was thought to be the one who cemented Chelsy’s relationship with Harry in the early years and is a close friend of both of theirs now. A little ironic given that this trip could well end it all.

Many have claimed that although she does care for Harry, their relationship may be doomed as she is not interested in the attention that marrying into the Royal family brings.

In a recent meeting between the two, Chelsy reportedly told Harry she’d rather not play the role of a princess under a microscope. After watching Kate Middleton go through intense scrutiny she decided she doesn’t want to live life like Kate and be under the constant gaze of paparazzi lenses.

This is certainly a risk on Chelsy’s part as a friend says, that though Harry adores her, “He is not the kind of boy that you can leave unsupervised all summer. They have plans to meet up at Valderrama in Spain at the end of July, but a lot can happen before then.”
